Year 2 Length and Height (arm span vs height)
Year 2s were learning about metres and centimetres in Maths today. We took our maths outside and the children measured each other’s arm spans. We used a tape measure which used cm. The children then discussed how we could convert these measures into m and cm. We then extended our investigation by measuring each other’s height and comparing it to our arm span measurements.
