Magical Toys
This week, we started our new topic all about Toys. On Monday, we entered the classroom to find a letter on top of a pile of junk! The letter was from the Toymaker, setting us a task to create toys from the junk. The children really rose to the challenge and used their imaginations to create a wide range of different toys. On Wednesday, the children brought in their favourite toys and talked about them with friends. Linking to our English work, the children used question hands to find out more information about other people's toys. We then used what we had found out, along with our observations of the condition of the toys to put them on a timeline.
