Liv asked if she could read 'A Bag Full of Worries' to Tigers and Bears class. She read it beautifully and it opened up some really important conversations amongst the children.
Tigers and Bears turned their taxi designs into reality. They used a variety of tools and equipment to make their taxis, including: · A ruler to measure the dowels for their axles, as well as an accurate place for the axles to fit on their box · Saws to cut their dowels to size · Hole punches to create holes for their dowels · Wheels to fit onto their axles
As part of our Bright Lights, Big City topic, children were challenged with directing their friends to London tourist attractions. They used directional and positional language to do this. The children then used the website 'Visit London' to plan Mrs Chapman's trip to London at the weekend. They suggested some fantastic plays I could see as well as some yummy places to eat.
