Counting in 5s

We have been working on counting in 5s forwards and backwards. 

The children collected groups of 5 sticks and put them in a line, with the total number of sticks written underneath.


They found and ordered their scattered packs of multiple of 5 cards, then identified any missing numbers from their sequence.




They created a spider’s web, finding and threading the multiples of 5 in the correct sequence.




The children were so enthusiastic and eager to learn, AMAZING!
