Pirate land art

This afternoon we looked at some of the work of the artist Andy Goldsworthy. The children were given the challenge to create their own topic themed land art using natural materials, like Andy’s. They worked in groups, firstly, deciding what to create, then collecting the appropriate materials needed to make their land art. They had some fantastic ideas and worked really well in groups to create their masterpieces.
