Potions

During forest school this afternoon, we read part of a story about a women who lived in a vinegar bottle. The women was very unhappy so a kind fairy said she would help her. We paused the story there and the children suggested making potions to help the unhappy women. Their imaginations ran wild, thinking of ideas for how the potion would work. Some children also made a new house for the women with a garage and walled garden to keep out any vicious animals. Later, we shared our recipes and how they could help the women. I was so thrilled with their creative ideas and thoughtfulness towards someone in need.

It has been such a lovely afternoon, well done everyone. I hope you have a super weekend.
