World knowledge quiz

 Wow! The enthusiasm that Tigers put into our world knowledge quiz this afternoon was amazing! The children have learnt the 7 continents of the world through a song (I hope they have given you at least one rendition of it at home) and they have also learnt some facts about the continents. 

Today we consolidated and built on this knowledge, culminating in a quick-fire quiz. The children showed excellent knowledge and were able to quickly find continents on the globes. A lot of fun and a lot of learning!

We are Water Protectors!

Tuesday 7th November 2023  We are Water Protectors! Today, the Tigers arrived in class to find a river and lots of paper fish swimming around our classroom. After discussing the title of our new story, ‘We are Water Protectors’ we discussed why water is important and special. We talked about all the reasons why we need to protect the water on our earth. On the fish and waves we wrote sentences about why water is important and needs to be looked after, before decorating our river with vocabulary all about water.
