Ordinal numbers and Counting in 3s

In maths this morning, the Year 1s were working on ordinal numbers. We had car races and decided who came 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th. Learning the different ways these words are represented can be tricky so it would be great if you could practice these at home as well. I would love to see what you get up to!

The year 2s moved on to counting in 3s. We made pyramids out of triangles to help support our learning. Please take any opportunity at home to practice counting in 3s or spotting groups of 3.

  1. George absolutely loved racing the cars with his friends, that much soon as he came home he lined up all his toy tractors and used them for racing too!!
