Tigers have loved celebrating Harvest this week. As well as learning about the meaning of Harvest, the children have been busy making soup with Mrs Beswick, which was sold to our lovely school community on Tuesday. Extra soup has also been made which will be distributed to members of our village community. Whilst making the soup, the children learnt about different vegetables, the importance of eating healthy food, food hygiene and safety when using sharp equipment.   

 This week, we have been celebrating World Space Week.  On Monday, we did lots of learning about different elements Space including: the sun and the stars (including constellations) the moon and the Sea the Northern Lights rockets and astronauts On Tuesday, we had a visit from the Planetarium. The children loved the experience and we discussed our learning together afterwards. The children have also produced some fantastic space art, creating their own planets and talking about the real planets that they know.
