Ahoy There!

 Tigers have had a great start to our Pirates topic, Ahoy There! The children have been: 

-following an art tutorial, learning how to draw a pirate 

- continuing to whittle the boats that we started at the end of last term. The aim is for these to become pirate ships.

- acting like pirates and burying treasure in the sand

We are Water Protectors!

Tuesday 7th November 2023  We are Water Protectors! Today, the Tigers arrived in class to find a river and lots of paper fish swimming around our classroom. After discussing the title of our new story, ‘We are Water Protectors’ we discussed why water is important and special. We talked about all the reasons why we need to protect the water on our earth. On the fish and waves we wrote sentences about why water is important and needs to be looked after, before decorating our river with vocabulary all about water.
