Colour Carousel!

Today the Tigers have continued with our ‘Mix It’ project by experimenting with all the ways we can mix the primary colours to create secondary colours. We used different techniques such as using paint rollers, sponges, stamps, and paper folding to explore how colours can be mixed indirectly from print making. We then created our own stamps out of clay to experiment with further.

We are Water Protectors!

Tuesday 7th November 2023  We are Water Protectors! Today, the Tigers arrived in class to find a river and lots of paper fish swimming around our classroom. After discussing the title of our new story, ‘We are Water Protectors’ we discussed why water is important and special. We talked about all the reasons why we need to protect the water on our earth. On the fish and waves we wrote sentences about why water is important and needs to be looked after, before decorating our river with vocabulary all about water.
