Munchie Maths

Mrs Chapman had a wonderful time doing Munchie Maths with the Tigers. We were focusing on areas in Big Maths that we're finding tricky. Year 1s were looking at subtraction and Year 2s were looking at doubling and halving. Yum, yum!

We are Water Protectors!

Tuesday 7th November 2023  We are Water Protectors! Today, the Tigers arrived in class to find a river and lots of paper fish swimming around our classroom. After discussing the title of our new story, ‘We are Water Protectors’ we discussed why water is important and special. We talked about all the reasons why we need to protect the water on our earth. On the fish and waves we wrote sentences about why water is important and needs to be looked after, before decorating our river with vocabulary all about water.
