Recycling ♻️















 On Thursday we had a visit from Derbyshire Dales Council to educate us all about recycling in our area! 

We discussed waste, types of waste and what to do with it to make sure it can be recycled and reused. The Tigers joined with the Bears to play a guessing game before heading outside to get the full experience by exploring a recycling truck! ♻️🚛

We are Water Protectors!

Tuesday 7th November 2023  We are Water Protectors! Today, the Tigers arrived in class to find a river and lots of paper fish swimming around our classroom. After discussing the title of our new story, ‘We are Water Protectors’ we discussed why water is important and special. We talked about all the reasons why we need to protect the water on our earth. On the fish and waves we wrote sentences about why water is important and needs to be looked after, before decorating our river with vocabulary all about water.
