Life as a Victorian- Class Investigation 🔬

Today the Tigers have been investigating,  using sources such as the laptops and books, what it would like to be a poor or a rich person in Victorian times. We split into two groups to gather facts and findings before sharing with the class.

 On Tuesday, Mrs Chapman loved reading about The Naughty Bus with Tigers class. We came up with a simple storyboard together along with some descriptive phrases to help us to retell the story. The children then retold the story to their partners, using playdough props.

Bernard’s Farm Visit 🐄

 Today, the Tigers visited Bernard’s Farm in Longnor for an exciting afternoon 🐄🐷. We learnt all about hay meadows and hay making, lambing and rare breeds of pig. We met some runner ducks and Kez the sheepdog along the on the way🐶 and we even took her a walk through the meadows 🌻
