Victorian Classroom Role Play ✏️👩🏻‍🏫










On Thursday the Tigers role played a Victorian Classroom. We completed a Victorian handwriting lesson, English lesson and art lesson that involved life drawing and we all made our very own dunce caps!  The Tigers have decided that they would much rather be in our classroom but it was rather funny to see Miss Harper dressed up as a Victorian!

Representing the Christian Creation Story

 Y1 and Y2 have been learning about the Christian Creation story this half term. This week, they worked in teams to represent each part of the story.  The children have been exploring what this story means to Christians, reminding them about what God is like, and feeling grateful for the wonders of the world we live in. We thought about how this story might inspire people to be creative, or to care for the Earth and its creatures, or to study the world in order to understand it better. Many Christians see the story as a poem. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth. We are Water Protectors!

Tuesday 7th November 2023  We are Water Protectors! Today, the Tigers arrived in class to find a river and lots of paper fish swimming around our classroom. After discussing the title of our new story, ‘We are Water Protectors’ we discussed why water is important and special. We talked about all the reasons why we need to protect the water on our earth. On the fish and waves we wrote sentences about why water is important and needs to be looked after, before decorating our river with vocabulary all about water.
