Well done Tigers! I've just had a lovely time looking through all of your Google Drive folders and seeing what you were doing at the end of last week. Here's a few wonderful moments that I don't think have been shared yet. Henry has been looking at how different animals move. Isabella has been busy doing Power Maths, going for a bike ride, doing topic work and writing about all the fun they had celebrating her little brother's birthday. Isabel and Samuel have been busy baking (weighing out ingredients), painting, and sewing their own animal puppets.  Layla has been busy completing the MyMaths work Oscar has been doing lots of joined-up handwriting. He's been looking at different animals and how they move as well as writing a story on his whiteboard.  A huge well done to you all! Mrs Chapman

Monday 30th March

R O A R ! Happy Monday! I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend. It got a lot chillier didn't it?  I loved seeing everything you got up to at the end of last week. It would be great to see lots more photos today. It makes me very happy and proud to see you all busy and smiling.  I've made a little Tigers newsletter for you which I have popped into each of your Google Drive folders (email me if you don't have your link) and Mr Handley should be emailing out later.  I should have given it a catchy title like the newspapers we created. Tigers Times? Can you think of a better one?  Have a fantastic day my lovely Tigers. I'm missing you all lots. Mrs Chapman

What's been going on?

I hope you've all had another lovely day in the sunshine. We have been incredibly lucky to have had such good weather this week. Lots of you have been in touch to let me know you have been working hard on the home learning tasks, which is fantastic, as well as being creative outdoors. Here are a few examples of the things the infants have been learning today. Ted's shapes in the garden, great stuff Ted.  George has been lots of games to help with his reading and writing and is looking forward to getting started with NumBots. Bea has shared her SPAG activity from earlier in the week. Well done Bea, this is a lovely piece of work. She has also been busy helping in the garden, riding her pony and playing in the mud kitchen. What a great week you've had. It's moments like this when I turn into an emotional wreck. Thank you so much for this Robert. I miss you all dearly and can't wait for us all to be back together again soon

It’s Friday!

Wow! I can’t believe we’re nearly at the end of our first week of home learning. Well done for all your hard work, you really are showing tremendous resilience during this unusual time, I’m truly amazed. Thank you to everyone who has been in touch, it always puts a massive grin on my face seeing what you’ve been doing. I would love to hear from those who haven’t done so yet. A few of you have been watching frog spawn, I wonder what changes there will be today? Keep me updated. I used to have an old cow trough in my garden when I was growing up, which turned into a sort of pond. During the spring my brother and I loved checking frog spawn and tadpoles, I found it fascinating. I can still remember that one year we counted 19 tadpoles. Many of you have been helping out on the farm, particularly with lambing. I imagine you are being a big help during a very tiring time for grown ups. Don’t forget to send pictures that I can share with the class. Perhaps you could incorporate some mat

Thanks again for sharing what you have been doing. Lots of you have been completing the home learning challenges as well as learning through exploration and play. Here is what the Infants have been doing today. Connie has been doing lots of phonics as well and planting seeds with Layla and drawing a detailed picture of a hamster. I wonder what they are growing? Alfie has been making large scale shapes out of peices of wood as well as using sheep corn. Alfie's also been riding Jack today. What lucky boys. Isabella has been continuing with her daily riding lessons as well as all her home learning challenges. Sol has been re-telling stories using props. He's been practising his moves on the trampoline. I love this. He's even been learning some sign language with Leah. What a brilliant idea, well done Sol and Leah. Robert has been doing all his work and enjoying PE with Joe. Estella and Robert are watching frog s

Hello Tigers, it’s Thursday, so it’s me, Miss Furness. Has everyone chosen their lunch yet? I fancy red choice today. I hope everyone is well. I have thoroughly enjoying seeing what you have all been busy learning, particularly the outdoor activities. Send me an email or drop pictures into your folders with the things you have been doing today, I can’t wait to see. It’s forest school this afternoon, have you all remembered your wellies? What are you going to create or do this afternoon? I fancy going on a bug hunt in my garden later. I thought I'd share this picture with you of Margot, she has loved walking in the sunshine and is  always making mischief. Have a super day everyone, can't wait to see what you've been doing later. Don't forget your 9am workout with Joe. Stay safe and look after each other. Miss Furness
