 Testing the Properties of Materials

Tigers were Scientists today, conducting their own experiments to test the properties of different materials.

This week, we looked at how materials can be changed. We investigated whether our materials could stretch, bend, squash and twist.

We have experienced what life was like before electricity in our homes.  We have had hands-on experience ironing, washing clothes, experiencing with old inventions and cleaning up!  This week in our Science lessons, the Y2 Tigers have gone down to the church with the Bears to observe and draw various trees - evergreen and deciduous alike. It was great to spend an afternoon out in the fresh air!
