Scientists: Which Materials are Waterproof?

 Tigers were Scientists again this afternoon. We are going to be making our own bath toys so today we conducted an investigation to find which materials are waterproof. We split into 2 teams to conduct our investigations. We thought about:

- An investigation question

- Equipment

- Method

-Predictions

We then conducted the experiment in our teams and noted down our results. We noticed that some materials initially appeared to be waterproof but, upon being left for a longer period of time, started to let the water through or showed obvious signs of absorbing the water. 

The children also had the opportunity to explore materials in the mud kitchen to see how many they could find that were waterproof.
