What a fantastic afternoon we had on Tuesday for Sports Day. The community spirit was absolutely wonderful and the children did us all proud.

Well done again to Red Team who won the most points overall.

Science in the park

This week in our Science lessons, the Y2 Tigers have gone down to the church with the Bears to observe and draw various trees - evergreen and deciduous alike. It was great to spend an afternoon out in the fresh air!

Kidslingo- A visit to Paris 🇫🇷🥐

On Friday morning the Tigers took a trip to Paris in the school hall (once we had gotten through passport control!). The Tigers learnt all about French food, wrote postcards in French, and visited an ice cream shop, asking for their ice creams in French.

Sudbury Hall 🏯✏️🧮

The Tigers have had a fabulous day at Sudbury Hall in Ashbourne! We found it what it was like to be a Victorian school child in the Victorian classroom, including having a go at real Victorian lessons. After lunch, we investigated and explored the museum of childhood. The children even got to test our life as a chimney sweep!
