Magnificent Monarchs - Entry Point

To kick off our summer term topic, Magnificent Monarchs, Tigers class had a fun-filled afternoon of thinking, exploring and investigating. 

We looked at historical periods and placed British monarchs on a timeline. 



We scanned QR codes with the iPads and went on virtual tours of royal residences, including Buckingham Palace.

We followed drawing tutorials to draw palaces and castles.

 

We built royal residences out of Lego.

Sudbury Hall 🏯✏️🧮

 The Tigers have had a fabulous day at Sudbury Hall in Ashbourne! We found it what it was like to be a Victorian school child in the Victorian classroom, including having a go at real Victorian lessons. After lunch, we investigated and explored the museum of childhood. The children even got to test our life as a chimney sweep!
