Butterflies!

It's the news everybody has been waiting for....the Tiger's butterflies have finally arrived! 

After a few days, we decided to release them on to our school field so they can fly away and enjoy some sunshine.

 The Tigers have had a fabulous day at Sudbury Hall in Ashbourne! We found it what it was like to be a Victorian school child in the Victorian classroom, including having a go at real Victorian lessons. After lunch, we investigated and explored the museum of childhood. The children even got to test our life as a chimney sweep!

Science in the park

 This week in our Science lessons, the Y2 Tigers have gone down to the church with the Bears to observe and draw various trees - evergreen and deciduous alike. It was great to spend an afternoon out in the fresh air!
