Fruit Fractions 🍓🍌🍎

On Wednesday, the Y2 children explored halves through some munchie maths! We used fruit and of course some sweet treats to help us firstly recognize a half, then we had a go at splitting them into equal parts.

 On Tuesday, Mrs Chapman loved reading about The Naughty Bus with Tigers class. We came up with a simple storyboard together along with some descriptive phrases to help us to retell the story. The children then retold the story to their partners, using playdough props.

Bernard’s Farm Visit 🐄

 Today, the Tigers visited Bernard’s Farm in Longnor for an exciting afternoon 🐄🐷. We learnt all about hay meadows and hay making, lambing and rare breeds of pig. We met some runner ducks and Kez the sheepdog along the on the way🐶 and we even took her a walk through the meadows 🌻
