Community Walk- Babbling Vagabonds 🎭

 On Friday, the Tigers joined the Babbling Vagabonds for a walk around our community. The children planned their route of all the interesting places in Taddington to share with our guests. Along the walk we discovered hidden facts about our village and discussed changes over the years. The children even got to share their historical knowledge on the history of Taddington School from our ‘School Days’ topic! 

When we got back to school we used a map to pinpoint all the places that we lived and important places to us.

We are Water Protectors!

Tuesday 7th November 2023  We are Water Protectors! Today, the Tigers arrived in class to find a river and lots of paper fish swimming around our classroom. After discussing the title of our new story, ‘We are Water Protectors’ we discussed why water is important and special. We talked about all the reasons why we need to protect the water on our earth. On the fish and waves we wrote sentences about why water is important and needs to be looked after, before decorating our river with vocabulary all about water.
