Street View 🏘🏙✏️

Today, the Tigers have begun their new art project Street View. Firstly we have identified similarities and differences between different pieces of street artwork, discussing composition and colour using our observations and artistic vocabulary. To develop our observations further we chose our favourite piece of artwork to copy details of to create our own sketches.

 What a wonderful afternoon we have had with ‘The History Van’. We have experienced what life was like before electricity in our homes.  We have had hands-on experience ironing, washing clothes, experiencing with old inventions and cleaning up! We have also wrote a post card using ink with a penny black stamp.

Science in the park

 This week in our Science lessons, the Y2 Tigers have gone down to the church with the Bears to observe and draw various trees - evergreen and deciduous alike. It was great to spend an afternoon out in the fresh air!
