Plants (and looking after our woodland)

 To launch our new Plants topic in Science, we went on a wildflower hunt in the woods. The children used a reference sheet to tick off as many as they could. The children then had a go at drawing one of the flowers.

Whilst up in the woods, the children also go stuck into tidying the area. They do a wonderful job of responsibility for keeping our grounds special.

Sudbury Hall 🏯✏️🧮

 The Tigers have had a fabulous day at Sudbury Hall in Ashbourne! We found it what it was like to be a Victorian school child in the Victorian classroom, including having a go at real Victorian lessons. After lunch, we investigated and explored the museum of childhood. The children even got to test our life as a chimney sweep!
