Making Crib Scenes

 This morning the Bears and Tigers joined together for a morning of RE. We looked again at the story of the first Christmas and used our creative skills to create our own crib scenes ⛪️🌲🐑✨we talked about how the shepherds, wise men and angels might have felt when Jesus was born and why everybody wanted to come and worship him.

We have experienced what life was like before electricity in our homes.  We have had hands-on experience ironing, washing clothes, experiencing with old inventions and cleaning up! We have also wrote a post card using ink with a penny black stamp.

Science in the park

 This week in our Science lessons, the Y2 Tigers have gone down to the church with the Bears to observe and draw various trees - evergreen and deciduous alike. It was great to spend an afternoon out in the fresh air!
