Painting- Piet Mondrian 🎨


















 Today, the Tigers and Bears have had an afternoon of painting. We have experimented with the primary colours, explored painting on different textures such as cardboard and used the dip, dip, dab method of painting. Next we looked at the artist, Piet Mondrian and created our own peice based on his block of primary colours art. 🎨🖌️

We have experienced what life was like before electricity in our homes.  We have had hands-on experience ironing, washing clothes, experiencing with old inventions and cleaning up!  This week in our Science lessons, the Y2 Tigers have gone down to the church with the Bears to observe and draw various trees - evergreen and deciduous alike. It was great to spend an afternoon out in the fresh air!
