Wonderful wands

 After finding some mystery objects in the woods, (a broken wand, a damaged house) the infants decided to whittle their own wands. Once they'd whittled, they added wool and natural objects to decorate them then enjoyed creating stories, letting their imaginations go wild.

 What a wonderful afternoon we have had with ‘The History Van’. We have experienced what life was like before electricity in our homes.  We have had hands-on experience ironing, washing clothes, experiencing with old inventions and cleaning up! We have also wrote a post card using ink with a penny black stamp.

 This week in our Science lessons, the Y2 Tigers have gone down to the church with the Bears to observe and draw various trees - evergreen and deciduous alike. It was great to spend an afternoon out in the fresh air!
